Movie Synopsis
Paradise, Hawaiian Style (1966) follows the story of Rick Richards, a pilot who starts his own helicopter charter service in Hawaii. Paradise, Hawaiian Style was primarily filmed on location in Hawaii, capturing the breathtaking scenery of the islands, the movie offers a delightful blend of comedy, romance, and music, set against the enchanting backdrop of Hawaii. It's a feel-good film that transports audiences to a tropical paradise while showcasing the talents of Elvis Presley and the beauty of the Hawaiian islands.
Directed by Michael D. Moore and starring the legendary Elvis Presley. Alongside Presley, the film features actors such as Suzanna Leigh, James Shigeta, and Donna Butterworth. Suzanna Leigh portrays Judy Hudson, Rick's love interest, while James Shigeta plays the role of Danny Kohana, Rick's friend and business partner. Donna Butterworth, a child actress at the time, adds charm to the film with her role as a young girl named Jan Kohana.
